The Braintime Lab (PI: Jihwan Myung) has created highly customizable and economical light entrainment and actimetry chambers for rodents in home cages, called ‘LocoBox,’ and has made the entire project open-source. Vuong Truong, a former student at GIMBC who recently returned from Tübingen, Germany, joined the team and completed the software part, enabling the system to perform entrainment unlike anything else that exists. We have made the complete hardware blueprints, components, and software details available. Check our paper at Sensors and find the software on GitHub.
