On July 16–17, 2025, Dr. Matteo Martino and Dr. Claire Chang from the Graduate Institute of Mind, Brain and Consciousness (GIMBC), Taipei Medical University, attended the 2nd Asian International Conference on Psychology (AICP) at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.

On July 16, representatives from Tohoku University (Japan), Taipei Medical University (Taiwan), Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) and Padjadjaran University (Indonesia) gathered to discuss the future direction and planning of AICP for the next three years. This meeting laid a solid foundation for further international collaboration in the field of psychology in Asia.

The conference officially began on July 17. Dr. Matteo Martino participated in the morning panel discussion, “Insight to Impact: Connecting Research for Better Health and Well-Being,” sharing insights on how research can promote health and well-being. He also delivered a keynote presentation on a working model of bipolar disorder. Dr. Claire Chang presented a research poster on how story schema learning shapes brain dynamics and health-related behavior, showcasing GIMBC’s innovative contributions in interdisciplinary psychology and neuroscience.

This conference not only strengthened academic ties between GIMBC and leading universities across Asia but also paved the way for future international collaborations and student exchanges. Through active participation in discussions and sharing research findings, GIMBC continues to expand its international influence in the fields of psychology and neuroscience.
