Six GIMBC students successfully completed the three-week 2026 Academia Sinica Summer School, organized by the Institute of Mathematics, Academia Sinica, from July 1 to July 21, 2026.
The program, titled “Nonstationary Time Series Analysis for Biomedical Artificial Intelligence,” covered advanced topics in nonstationary biomedical signal analysis, mathematical modeling, time-frequency analysis, machine learning, and manifold learning, with a focus on their applications in biomedical artificial intelligence and clinical research. Through lectures, hands-on training, and interdisciplinary discussions, students gained valuable knowledge of advanced biomedical data analysis techniques while strengthening their interdisciplinary research skills and broadening their perspectives on AI-driven biomedical research.
GIMBC is committed to providing students with diverse academic and professional development opportunities. By encouraging participation in high-quality training programs and academic exchanges, the Institute aims to cultivate interdisciplinary talent and prepare students to address emerging challenges in biomedical science and artificial intelligence.
