Professor Chang-Wei Wu and Assistant Professor Matteo Martino led students from the Institute of Mind, Brain and Consciousness to participate in the annual OHBM conference.

Notably, master’s program graduate Teng-Mao Yao from Institute of Mind, Brain and Consciousness was selected for an oral presentation. This allowed our research to be shared not only through a poster, but also to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges with international scholars on a global stage. His presentation focused on “The Impact of Night Shift Work on Functional Connectivity and Spontaneous Neural Activity (ALFF) in Healthcare Workers.” The study demonstrated that night shift work leads to partially reversible changes in brain functional connectivity among healthcare professionals, with particularly persistent alterations observed between the default mode network (DMN) and the dorsal attention network (DAN). These findings generated enthusiastic responses and lively discussion at the conference
