Short Term Internship_Tohoku University

Two master’s students and two doctoral students from GIMBC traveled to Tohoku University in Japan for a one-month short-term exchange.

During this month, the students explored various experimental projects in the psychology laboratory and discussed their research and experiences with professors. Among them, the doctoral students participated in a small project studying olfactory imagery and its connection to perception, focusing on individual differences in the vividness of olfactory visualization. Additionally, the students visited the virtual reality (VR) laboratory at Tohoku University, where they gained valuable insights into the innovative applications of virtual reality in their research.

This internship not only expanded students knowledge and research skills but also allowed them to explore the city of Sendai, making the overall experience pleasant.
