2026 GIMBC Neuroscience Summer Workshop, Event Highlights

Thank you to all the students and participants for your enthusiastic participation in our two-day GIMBC Neuroscience Summer Workshop!

On August 25, the workshop began with an introduction to GIMBC by Prof. Claire Chang, followed by presentations from GIMBC faculty members introducing the latest research directions and ongoing projects in their labs. After the presentations, participants had the opportunity to engage with faculty members and discuss the research areas that interested them most.

On August 26, the workshop continued at the Shuang Ho Campus Teaching and Research Building, where GIMBC Director Prof. Changwei Wu personally guided participants through the Institute and introduced GIMBC’s research environment and facilities. Participants were then divided into groups to visit each faculty member’s laboratory, where they learned more about ongoing research through experimental demonstrations, explanations, and interactive activities.

With two days of active participation, lively discussions, and research exchange, the 2026 GIMBC Neuroscience Summer Workshop came to a wonderful close. Thank you again for joining us, and we look forward to seeing you at future GIMBC events!
