Topic: Information-weighting system in the brain

Talk Abstract

Living in an age where information is easily accessible, understanding how the brain deals with information has never been more critical (think of discerning fake news). Psychologists have long investigated this issue, and a major conclusion is that humans are not very good at evaluating information. People often show systematic errors and biases in judgment. But how do these errors and biases arise in the brain? In this talk, I will share with you recent findings from my lab on this question.
